This page outlines requirements for the degree in Urban Studies (BA, Urban Studies). Students can also pursue this subject as part of a self-designed major (BA or BS, Liberal Arts) or as a minor. Students interested in the minor should consult Rachel Heiman, chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Only specific courses satisfy requirements of the major in Urban Studies, including electives. Not all courses are offered every semester. Courses should be chosen carefully in consultation with an advisor. Students are encouraged to track their program using the program requirements worksheet (PDF) for the year in which they declared their major in Urban Studies (see below). They should bring this worksheet when meeting with their advisors. Students must receive grades of C or better in all courses taken to fulfill the major requirement.
