  • The New School has been regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE, 3624 Market Street, 2nd Floor West, Philadelphia, PA 19104; 216.284.5000), a federally recognized institutional body, since 1960. All degree programs at the New York City campus of The New School are registered by the New York State Department of Education (NYSED, 89 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12234; 518.474.1551). Both NYSED and MSCHE provide assurance to students, parents, and all stakeholders that The New School meets clear quality standards for educational and financial performance.

    Parsons Paris is a registered branch campus of The New School and is accredited by MSCHE and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD, 11250 Roger Bacon Drive, Suite 21, Reston, VA 20190-5248; 703.437.0700). Parsons Paris is recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education as an Établissement d'enseignement supérieur privé.  Diplomas for all degree programs at Parsons Paris are issued by The New School under the authorization of the New York State Board of Regents.
