  • IMG - Parsons Paris Graduate Programs

Art and design professionals in the 21st century must navigate a fluid and highly networked global culture. Parsons prepares its graduates for this rapidly evolving world by offering a range of cross-disciplinary graduate programs that center on advanced studio practice and research.

    Fashion Studies (MA)

The MA in Fashion Studies offers an academic route to advancing the research and analysis of fashion as a cultural phenomenon and global industry. The program provides an entryway for students who want to pursue careers in fashion research, including positions in fashion archives, museums, and galleries, media and consulting, as well as teaching. MA Fashion Studies also prepares students for advanced research in fashion leading to a PhD.

Strategic Design and Management (Global Executive, MS)

Academically rigorous and industry focused, the Global Executive Master's is specially designed for working professionals, preparing them to confidently create, manage, and lead design process–driven organizations. Seminars are held at Parsons Paris, combined with online learning, hands-on studios, and global experiences in New York and Shanghai.

History of Design and Curatorial Studies (MA)

The MA in History of Design and Curatorial Studies (MA HDCS) is a two-year graduate program. Students pursuing graduate work in the History of Design and Curatorial Studies program seek to understand objects as intersections of material culture, social history, and aesthetic theory. Taking advantage of the many collections and archives in Paris, this curatorial studies program emphasizes object-based teaching and hands-on experience in curatorial practice.

The Parsons Paris campus is no longer accepting applications for the MA History of Design and Curatorial Studies program. All interest and applications for the MA HDCS should be directed to our main campus in New York City, where the program, now in its third decade, continues to be based. Depending on their thesis topic, students may spend a semester at Parsons Paris during their second year.
