All applicants must submit their online application and required application materials by November 1 to be considered for early action. A decision letter will be mailed at the end of December to applicants who met the Early Action deadline. Incomplete applications will be rolled forward to the January 15 regular decision deadline. In some cases, the Admission Committee may need to postpone a decision in order to review additional information. If the committee decides to postpone its decision on an application, that application will be reviewed again during the regular decision period.
Please note: only Freshman applicants can apply for the Early Action deadline.
All applicants are encouraged to submit their online application and all required application materials by January 15, but this deadline is particularly important for anyone who wishes to be considered for university housing or scholarships. Applications received after the priority deadline has passed will be considered only if places are available. Prospective students who apply and submit all required application materials by January 15 will receive decision letters by April 1.
Transfer students who have earned fewer than 15 studio art credits are encouraged to submit their applications by the January 15 deadline.
Sophomore-level transfers: applicants who possess a strong portfolio coupled with a minimum of 15 credits in studio art coursework (for BFA and BBA applicants) or business coursework (for BBA applicants only) and 9 credits of liberal arts coursework (minimum of 24 credits). Junior-level transfers: applicants who possess a strong portfolio coupled with a minimum of 40 credits in studio art coursework (for BFA and BBA applicants) or business coursework (for BBA applicants only) and 12 credits of liberal arts coursework.
