Anthony is the creative director and partner of Place+Make / Place+Code, an integrated, environmental design practice. He is a multi-disciplinary designer, educator and writer with over 25-years experience in creating and building sustainable, resilient environments ranging from public parks to corporate offices to specialty retail stores. Anthony has specific expertise in complex urban sites with high foot traffic. Recent projects include work on Central Park, Valley Medical Center and the World Trade Center.
A graduate of the Cooper Union, Anthony is also a co-founder of the MFADT in Design + Technology program at Parsons. Anthony's projects have won the Cannes Gold Lion; International Design Award; Spark Design Awards and multiple SEGD and GOOD Design awards. Anthony holds several design patents and his work is included in the National Design Museum. Anthony also served as a member of the EPA’s Gowanus Community Advisory Group, and co-founded Gowanus By Design, a community based urban design advocacy.
