    Brian Lav has been photographing since 1969. Mr. Lav has received many awards and fellowships including the prestigious teaching excellence award in 1998 from Parsons The New School for Design, in NYC, where he has been teaching for over 25 years, almost since the inception of their photography program.Lav's work is represented in many permanent collections including: The International Center for Photography, The Rochester Institute of Technology, The New Jersey State Museum, The Newark Museum, and The Museum of Art and History in Fribourg, Switzerland. His work has been widely exhibited and published in many books and magazines including Manhattan, The Platinum Print, The Photographed Cat, and America's Working Man.Currently Brian has just completed his book, ZONE SYSTEM and is working on two new books, one titled THE FINE BLACK and WHITE PRINT and the other titled ALEX.
