Elizabeth Enck is design strategist and researcher, and the founder of Blue Water Workshop, a design strategy and innovation consultancy based in Maine. Over the past ten years, she has helped others take a people-centric approach to the design of their organizations, products and services, from employee to customer experiences.

She is a 2015 graduate of the MS Strategic Design and Management program at Parsons, where she has served as part-time faculty and a mentor for the Entrepreneurial Lab (eLab). She has also taught undergraduates at Northeastern University.

An explorer at heart, her career has spanned the arts, broadcasting, digital and brand strategy, and service design, developing solutions for a variety of companies and clients, from grassroots nonprofits to global organizations. Before founding Blue Water Workshop, she helped launch and led strategy for the New York office of WAE, a service design consultancy that was acquired by Globant in 2016.

Through it all, her work has focused on listening to and fostering a deeper understanding for people’s stories, helping raise awareness, provoke new thinking and spark ideas.

Most recently, she completed Leadership Maine, a nine-month program sponsored by the Maine Development Foundation, aimed at helping people build their leadership capacity to help shape the state’s future.
