  • The Schools of Public Engagement offer a distinctive educational experience integrating professional, civic, and interdisciplinary learning. They are a consortium of six schools and programs that prepare students to understand, contribute to, and succeed in a rapidly changing society.

    Milano School of Policy, Management, and Environment

    Graduate students at Milano address complex social, economic, environmental, and political problems in real time, learning to lead change through collaborative project-based fieldwork. Learn more

    The School of Languages trains teachers of English to speakers of other languages in highly regarded degree and certificate programs. The school also provides foreign language instruction, including English as a foreign language, for students throughout the university. Learn more

    Media research, production, and management are explored together in degree and certificate programs offered in New York City and online, providing a strong foundation on which to build or enhance a career. Learn more

    Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students

    The New School offers a range of undergraduate degree programs for adults and transfer students seeking an alternative to the traditional four-year college experience. Students can design their own academic path or choose from specific majors, studying full-time or part-time, on campus or online. Learn more

    Creative Writing Program

    The centerpiece of the Creative Writing Program's curriculum is the renowned MFA in Creative Writing. The program also offers the Riggio Honors Program: Writing and Democracy for undergraduates and workshops and seminars open to degree-seeking and continuing education students. Learn more

    Julien J. Studley Graduate Programs in International Affairs
